We were there during the green chili harvest so the air was filled with the smell of roasting green chilis.

Bring your own shopping bags with you and you can save money. Parking is limited, so read the signs before parking on the street. Most vendors only accept cash, but ATMs are available at the Market for a fee.
Stop at the Farmer’s Market Cafe for coffee and a breakfast burrito (smothered with fresh green chile). You can get tasty breakfast burritos. We liked the garlic and green chili bread that was freshly baked.
Fresh pastries include favorites like danishes, jelly-filled donuts, and lavender-glazed donuts. Try the green chili cheese bread or the fruit bread from the stand there, they are outside in the Summer and inside during the Winter months.
